A hearty and comforting casserole with soft chicken, creamy sauce, mixed vegetables, and a buttery cracker crust on top.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup crushed crackers
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Put cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, mixed vegetables, diced onion, diced celery, diced bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl
Also add the cooked chicken
Spread the mix out in a 9x13-inch baking dish that has been greased
Crumble the crackers and mix them with the melted butter in a small bowl until they are evenly covered
Add them to the casserole's top
After the oven is hot, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown
