Curious George Cake Pops Cookies



Delightful and whimsical Curious George cake pops that combine the fun of cake with the cuteness of everyone's favorite little monkey. These cake pops are perfect for themed parties and celebrations!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup chocolate candy melts
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup banana chips, crushed
  • 1/4 cup white candy melts
  • Edible candy eyes
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions:

Bake the chocolate cake according to the package instructions and let it cool

Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl

Add chocolate frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until well combined

Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet

Melt the chocolate candy melts with vegetable oil in the microwave or using a double boiler

Dip the tip of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and insert it into a cake ball

Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated

Allow excess chocolate to drip off

Place the coated cake pops back on the baking sheet and immediately attach edible candy eyes before the chocolate sets

Melt the white candy melts and drizzle over the cake pops to create Curious George's iconic fur pattern

Sprinkle crushed banana chips onto the wet white candy melts to mimic George's fur texture

Allow the cake pops to set completely before serving or packaging
